On the Road

Left home for the Dutchess County Fair in Rhinebeck New York. This is a great fair that we have been to a couple times before. Thought we would visit it again on our way to the New York Gulfstreamers 20th Anniversary Rally in Lake George. Caught up with the Mechanical Man and his wife, Randy and Dale Burns. What a surprise to find out they were camping in the same campground and right across from us. We met at their site and enjoyed a drink and campfire and chatted into the evening.

In the morning we left for the Lake George RV Park where we joined up with 20 other rigs including our friends, Diane and Bill and Rigley's friend Bentley. It's been a fun filled few days. Austin won a two pack of flashights and Diane won Elmers glue while playing the Price is Right on Sunday night. Then Monday night Diane won the coverall in Bingo, 21.2 oz. box of Ferrero Rocher hazelnut chocolates. Tuesday we took a boat ride on Lake George. It was a beautiful day to be on the lake. That's Austin and Les Potteiger standing on deck. Les came to the rally all the way from Virginia. He is the International Gulfstreamers Events manager and Wagon Master.

The two Diane's, Austin and Bill are paddling around pond one at the campground. We saw, turtles, tadpoles, snails and ducks. Tonight we carpooled over to the Painted Pony Rodeo for a BBQ and show. The front row is the Gallos and the Fosters. Back row is Les and Don and Joyce. We left early, not impressed.

Yikes did Dad mug Indiana Jones for that hat?? The paddle boats look like fun, and they may be the only way to get around in FL.
