It was a beautiful sunny December day as we headed to Charleston, SC. We stopped at
Folly Beach to exercise Rigley before continuing to the
Charleston Tea Plantation at Wadmalaw Island. The only place in the United States that tea is grown.
We spent the afternoon exploring Historic Charleston before moseying on over to
James Island County Park to enjoy the
Holiday Festival of Lights.

The 3 mile loop through the park was an amazing display of over two million lights, featuring over 700 displays.

The synchronized music and light display was awesome.

Rigley was a hit with young and old as we walked the Winter Wonderland and Santa's Village.

Once in the park you can go around the loop as many times as you like. Besides the walking paths, we drove around twice. Each time seeing things we missed. Especially loved the golfing Santa. He'd swing his club, hit the ball and the white light (ball) flew through the air, across the field to the green and into the cup. Cool!
