Bass Hole in May

We got the call and we were on it. Sure we'll meet for breakfast. Destination "Jack's Outback" in Yarmouthport. Sunday morning, 9:30, and it was crowded as usual. No worries, there are always friendly faces waiting in the line and plenty of chatter. And of course there is Jack the Golden Retriever greeting everyone. Never know who you'll see. For me it was Carol Ann Hurley. We used to skate together, that was back in 1959. Carol Ann thinks we should should try the new rink when it opens, have you seen the size of it?
After breakfast Wayne, Judy, Austin and I ventured over to Bass Hole. We walked out on the boardwalk for some birdwatching and enjoyed the peace and tranquility of a gorgeous May day.
