Our weekend in Jacksonville is coming to a close, but we will be back.
Travis and Donna are never at a loss for things to do that will entertain us. It was all about gourds on Friday but on Saturday we attended the N.E.Florida Scottish Games and Festival. The Scottish games were, rustic displays of strength. Macho,macho,man....clan against clan tossing a 27 pound round rock, tossing a caper, hammer throws and hay toss. This beared guy was our choice for Best Dressed Scottish Cowboy.
Saturday night we slept through the tornado watch until the thunder storms kept us a wake most of the early morning. The skies cleared by noon and made way for a beautiful cool afternoon. Down right cold by Florida standards.
It's Sunday afternoon and Trav and Donna are driving us to Mandarin for dinner. Michael only laughed when his Mom said, we're going to Clark's Fish Camp. What was so funny? Just a walk in the door and we knew.
We entered a jungle. Animals coming at us from all directions and baby aligators in a fish tank. As we walked to our table we pasted hundreds of antique fish plates that lined the walls.
Austin just had to ruin a good picture of Trav and Donna. Father and son showed us just how much a like they are. Donna says, Austin is the tree and Trav is the apple.
