Found a nice place to walk around, Cocoa Village. They had a craft fair in the streets and we enjoyed seeing crafts with a Florida flare. Also a real nice village green with all areas and stores dog friendly. Thinking about going back for Mardi Gras on Saturday.
Found another great place, New Smyrna Beach. The dunes has 2 miles of boardwalks that meander over the dunes.
Dogs are allowed early morning and in the late afternoon on the boardwalk.
Paw prints painted on the pavement mar
k the way to the beach. The beach has two large areas separated by a jetty. Cars and people on one side and dogs and pawrents on the other side.
Rigley loved it and so did we. Dogs are suppose to be on leash and they all were. Those that were swimming had leashes just no one holding the other end. Water temp was 66 and Austin and I waded while Rigley romped.
Rigley thinks he may have found a relative from Georgia.
Walking off the beach brings you to a dog wash, a bathhouse for the dogs! How cool is that?
Today we sat on the banks of the Banana River. We had to hold our spot as hundreds of people entered Jetty Park in anticipation of a shuttle launch at 9:20pm. At 2:37pm, Nasa cancelled the launch because of a hydrogen leak. Next target day, Sunday.
Hope you have enjoyed the pictures.
