Doggie Pool Play

Rigley had his first pool play date today. We packed up the car with towels and toys and headed over to Lola Teague's house. Lola is a one year old Black Lab that was meeting Rigley for the first time. My cousin Matt and his wife Dena and their 3 kids supplied the pool.

Anyone who has read my Blog knows it's all about Rigley and that he loves the water, but Rigley had never experienced what it's like to step into the deep end of a pool. His backyard pool is only 8 inches deep and at the beach the water only gets deep when he swims after a ball or stick. So, it's water, I like water and in he went. It was a moment to behold and too quick for a photo. A little panic set in momentarily but no worries as the Teague fish, Carleigh, Matt and Delia were there to show Rigley the way to the steps. It wasn't long before Rigley figured it out. Matt was able to coax him to jump for the Frisbee. Austin even joined the fun and helped show Rigley where the steps were. The girls threw the tennis ball and Matt and Rigley both raced for it. Guess who got there first.?

We had a great time with lots of laughs. Just had to share.
