We spent the last few days at the Oak Haven Campground in Wales, MA with our friends from Pembroke. We were there to poke around the Brimfield Antiques and Collectables Show. Although we had a lousy forecast, the weather turned out wonderful. Diane F. and Diane G. looked for something to wear to upcoming weddings and Austin was on the lookout for more wood planes to add to his growing collection. Bill just wined and complained because it was a long couple days of walking and standing. But he did enjoy his Pilgrim Sandwich everyday for lunch.
Brought home a Bennington, VT crock, an old wheel barrel for the garden and another yellow ware bowl for my collection.
Did anyone see the rainbow around the sun on Tuesday?? What an awesome sight. All eyes were to the sky as everyone began to notice. It last for 10-15 minutes and was truly amazing.
Saturday we will head to the fair grounds, barnstablecountyfair.org, for the annual Master Gardeners plant sale. The Master Gardeners have been a part of the Barnstable County for Fair for as long as I can remember. They are responsible for the large garden at the fair grounds that produces vegetables and flowers for all of us to admire.
