It's mid-February and it has been chilly and wet since our return, but there have been some nice days mixed in. The yard needs some attention and we'll get to that soon enough but today we went for a ride.
Back on January 27th there was a Nor'Easter and we missed it. So today's adventures took us to Newcomb Hollow in Wellfleet to check out the 50 foot keel and wooden ribs of a 19th Century schooner that sits on the beach. Since that January storm, hundreds of people have been to see it. I thought by now, we'd be the only ones left that hadn't been there. I was wrong, many people were on the beach today.
It was a gorgeous day, with sunshine and big waves. Rigley had new friends to run with and soft sand to dig.
In the end, he was too tired
Ah, February on Cape Cod.
