We have found our way to the State of Michigan. Spent the first night camping on Lake Erie in the Southeast corner of the state. Then over to the West and Lake Michigan. Spent several nights at Silver Lake State Park over looking the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. Gotta love camping in late September, only 5 campers in the entire park. The dunes were relatively quiet too. But this is a hopping place in the summer.
Austin climbed the 130 steps to the top of Little Sable Lighthouse while Diane and Rigley played in the dunes.
Later in the day we took a Mac Woods Dune ride in the Sand Beetle over the Silver Lake Dunes. We had a blast
!
We enjoyed this area for a couple days. The farms, the antique shops and more trips to the dunes, Rigley's favorite.
That's a lot of pumpkins !
