......still on the road

Spent the last two nights among the bobcats and amadillos in the woods of Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas. That's where we camped but I didn't see any wildlife but the signs said they were abundant. Didn't find any diamonds either. Rigley helped dig, but it wasn't easy. Others must have found something because the sign said they had found 5 diamonds yesterday. Ya right, the biggest was 20 points, that's less than a quarter carat, so we were looking for a shinny dot in very hard volcanic soil. Just part of the adventure.
